We celebrate all of our special occasions at La Voile, and it’s a can’t-miss destination for date nights, too. The intimate and upscale establishment offers authentic French specialties like homemade foie gras and Le Homard (lobster over celeriac mirepoix, roasted chestnuts, and mushroom oysters with lobster bisque).
What’s more, dishes like the soupe de poisson (fish soup) and the loup de mer (seabass) are imported directly from the Mediterranean. The establishment strives to prepare the highlights of French regions, including escargots de Bourgogne, rillettes du Mans, magret de Canard, and others.
There’s no better choice when it comes to authentic French cuisine in Boston. Another location of La Voile in Brookline—and catering—are also available.
A go-to spot for foie gras and escargot and one of the least touristy restaurants on Newbury. With a number of French bistros in Boston it’s quite competitive, but this one is certainly one of the most accessible.
