Spanish tapas and wine bar Tres Gatos also hosts a small shop of books and music, so it’s easy to enjoy a fully immersive tapas experience here. And the tapas here do indeed shine.
Check out Brussels sprouts a la plancha (tandoori vin, labne, mint, and horseradish), pollo a la brasa (Jamaican jerk, Scotch bonnet, lime, and cilantro), seared scallops (salt cod espuma, stinging nettles, and green garlic), or gambas a la brasa (nora chili, garlic, lime, and cilantro).
That’s just for starters—bring a buddy to Tres Gatos or, better yet, call ahead to make sure there’s room for your full group for one of the tapas-notch experiences to be found around these parts.
Among my favorites: the Octopus a la Plancha, paella, burrata, veggie bocadillo, and gazpacho (when it’s available).
