Looking for an afternoon or evening breakfast? All-day breakfast is just one of many things that Zaftigs Delicatessen is known for. It’s a casual New York-style deli with two locations (Brookline and Natick).
Menu highlights include the routine, dependable, and specialty; we recommend banana-stuffed French toast, chopped chicken liver, loaded latkes, and monstrous build-your-own deli sandwiches.
Aside from that, you can’t go wrong with any of Zaftigs’ specialty sandwiches, like the Reuben, the Rachel, pastrami and swiss, the New Yorker, and the Nanny Fanny. Online ordering is available if you’re in a rush, and you can grab it to go, too!
A Coolidge Corner staple and the closest thing we have to a New York Jewish deli. Although it won’t be authentic enough for the purists who like their delis a certain way, I find their brunches to be consistently delicious.
